Cuir Cuba Intense Perfume by Nicolai, Cuir Cuba Intense is a sweet, leathery fragrance that was designed for women. It was launched in 2014. This fragrance opens with top notes of star anise, Sicilian lemon, licorice, and mint. Its floral heart notes consist of lavender, ylang-ylang, magnolia, geranium, coriander, and cumin. Its base finishes the scent with notes of cedar, patchouli, Liatris, hay, and civet. This fragrance has heavy sillage, and it is long-lasting.This fragrance was released by the house of Nicolai. This company’s extremely talented perfumer and founder is a descendant of the Guerlain family, so she grew up surrounded by fragrances and creativity. Instead of working for the family business, in 1989 she decided to start her own niche fragrance brand as well as create her own scents. She released her first fragrance under her brand name the same year. She is also the president of Osmotheque, a perfume museum in France.
