Vintage Film Noir Poster 27”x41” “Sorry, Wrong Number” Stanwyck, Lancaster 1948

This an original vintage movie one sheet for the 1948 Paramount Pictures film noir thriller classic “Sorry, Wrong Number” starring Barbara Stanwyck (nominated for Best Actress Oscar) & Burt Lancaster. The film follows a bedridden woman who overhears the plot of murder while on the telephone. By phone, she attempts to contact telephone switchboard operators, police, or others who might help her prevent the crime as the suspense is ratcheted up.

This 1948 film poster one sheet (27” x 41”) for the classic film noir thriller “Sorry, Wrong Number” is in fine to very fine condition. Prior to paperbacking & restoration, the poster had pinholes, minor wear along foldlines, minute paper loss at cross-folds, scuffs & smudges in yellow area at top center of poster, & a little ink transfer caused by poster being folded too soon after printing. While the poster was in very fine condition prior to paperbacking & was well-backed, it was roughly handled after restoration so it has creases at borders.
